LUCKY STIFF  is based on the 1983 novel The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo by Michael Butterworth.  LUCKY STIFF is often described as a farcical murder mystery.  Set in England, Atlantic City, and Monte Carlo, the story revolves around mild-mannered English shoe salesman Harry Witherspoon.  Harry’s uncle has been murdered, but if Harry can pass him off as alive in Monte Carlo, then he will inherit his uncle’s riches.  Of course, Harry’s not the only one chasing after the fortune.  LUCKY STIFF has charmed audiences all over the country with its madcap storyline full of mistaken identities, delightful music, and zany characters.

This show is rated PG for compromising situations and mild language.
